The comprehensive works required over 20 permissions being secured for listed building consent and planning permission.  The Urbanists managed the complex planning process from initial design, through to completion.  The work included rigorous pre-application stages with the LPA, and the preparation of detailed Heritage Justification Statements and the Design and Access Statements.

The work involved balancing the strict legislative requirements relating to works to listed buildings with the need to deliver this important project in a timely and cost effective manner. The appearance of the listed building has been significantly improved and a much more welcoming interface with the public realmcreated.
